Stanced UK Honda Civic Type R EP3 monotube coilover with 32-way damping and camber-adjustable top mount

PREMIUM MONOTUBE PERFORMANCE.

With many years of experience racing Honda Civic EP3s in UK motorsport, we understand how these cars respond to suspension changes and what is required from a fast-road and track-focused setup.

Drawing on that hands-on experience, this kit was developed to deliver sharper response, dependable control and the flexibility to tailor the suspension to your driving style. The monotube dampers provide consistent performance under demanding use, while 32-way adjustable damping allows the firmness to be fine-tuned for road or track driving.

Camber-adjustable front top mounts are included as standard, giving you greater control over the front-wheel alignment to optimise steering response, tyre contact and cornering grip.

Honda Civic Type R EP3 Coilovers FAQs

The approximate lowering range is 50–100mm. The final ride height will depend on the vehicle, wheel and tyre setup and how the suspension is adjusted. We recommend setting the car to a practical height that maintains adequate clearance and suspension travel.

Yes. The kit has been developed for fast-road and track-day use and can also be used on a daily-driven EP3. The ride will be firmer and more performance-focused than the standard suspension, but the 32-way damping adjustment allows you to soften or firm up the dampers to suit your preference.

Yes. The monotube damper design, 32-way damping adjustment, camber-adjustable front top mounts and performance-focused spring rates make the kit well suited to track-day use while remaining usable for fast-road driving.

These coilovers use monotube dampers, which are unusual at this price point and provide improved heat dissipation, consistent damping and a more responsive feel. The kit also includes 32-way adjustable damping and camber-adjustable front top mounts as standard.

A monotube damper uses a single-cylinder design with a larger piston and improved heat dissipation. This helps maintain more consistent damping as the suspension temperature increases during demanding fast-road driving or track use.

Monotube dampers also generally provide a more direct and responsive feel than conventional twin-tube designs. Many coilovers at this price point use twin-tube dampers, making the monotube construction of our EP3 Premium kit a significant performance benefit.

The included front camber-adjustable top mounts allow the front-wheel camber to be fine-tuned during alignment.

Additional negative camber can improve tyre contact and front-end grip when cornering, making it particularly beneficial for fast-road and track-day setups. It also gives your alignment specialist greater control when setting up the car after it has been lowered.

Camber should always be adjusted professionally, as excessive settings can cause uneven tyre wear.

The 32-stage damping adjustment allows you to fine-tune the firmness and response of the suspension without changing the springs.

Softer settings can provide greater compliance for road use, while firmer settings can offer increased control during spirited driving and track days. This wide adjustment range lets you tailor the suspension to suit your roads, tyres, driving style and intended use.

We recommend starting at a softer setting and making small, equal adjustments across each axle until you find the balance that suits the car.

Yes. The ride height and damper firmness can be adjusted independently, allowing you to change the ride height without relying solely on spring preload. This helps you create a balanced setup for fast-road driving, track days or your preferred stance.

The front spring rate is 8 kg/mm and the rear spring rate is 10 kg/mm. These rates have been selected to provide the body control and response required for fast-road and track-day driving.

Yes. Camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied as part of the kit, allowing additional front camber adjustment to help fine-tune steering response, tyre contact and cornering grip.

Yes. Stanced UK Premium Coilovers include a two-year manufacturer’s warranty for added reassurance. UK-based technical support and replacement parts are also available.

Yes. A professional four-wheel alignment is strongly recommended after installation and whenever the ride height or front camber is changed. This ensures the car handles correctly and helps prevent uneven tyre wear.
