Coilovers have a reputation for being harsh, noisy, or “too much” for daily use — but that only applies if you buy the wrong ones. In reality, coilovers can be one of the best upgrades for a daily driver — if they’re built with real-world use in mind.
Many cheap kits focus purely on lowering — not how the car actually drives. Overly stiff springs, mismatched dampers, and missing bump stops are just some of the issues that can turn a fun build into a regret. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
At Stanced UK®, our coilovers are designed for daily driving from day one. That means:
-
Matched spring and damper rates for proper street comfort
-
Pre-set damping that balances control with usability
-
Powder-coated struts and sealed internals for long-term reliability
-
Internal bump stops and dust covers to handle rough UK roads
You still get aggressive stance and sharp handling — but with a ride you won’t hate every time you hit a speed bump or country lane.
Our kits suit everything from hatchbacks and estates to coupes and vans. Whether you’re building a clean street car, a practical daily, or a low-sitting camper, we’ve got a setup that fits.
If you’ve ever asked, “Are coilovers worth it for daily driving?” — the answer is yes, if you choose the right ones.

Are these a good upgrade over stock oe on my fiesta st180 which even on stock breaks your back on potholes so coilovers wont make that worse as it cant get harder than mine lol my front dampeners squeek in winter until they warm up and all my springs are rusty so dont recoil properly so upgrading to stance wont make it firmer but im hoping they dont rust so easily n dont squeek in winter.
